Videocast of teaching on Death and Dying Sat 09 June

We are pleased to announce a webcast of the Saturday morning talk by the Venerable Kunsang Choephel titled ‘Teaching on Death and Dying’ at the International Buddhist Academy, Kathmandu, on Saturday, June 9th, 2018. The teaching will be given in English. Registration is now open at www.gompaservices.com. Registration will be available until June 25th, 2018. The Venerable Kunsang Choephel will give an introduction to the Tibetan Buddhist perspective on Death and Dying. Contemplation of impermanence and meditation on the inner processes related to death and dying are regarded as very important in Tibetan Buddhism. Venerable Kunsang Choephel will talk about how to prepare for death according to the Tibetan Buddhist tradition and will also review the modern scientific view of death compared with the Tibetan Buddhist view. The teaching will be recorded live and be available to view by the end of the day (Nepal time). The webcast will then remain available for you to view at any time of your choosing until June 25th, 2018. The Gompa Services registration fee for the webcast is £4.00. At the time you register you will also have the option to make a voluntary offering in support of the International Buddhist Academy.
