Videocast of Ven Kunsang Sat 2 March teaching available

We are pleased to announce a webcast of the Saturday morning teaching on March 2nd by the Venerable Kunsang Choephel titled: ‘Preliminary Practice: Mandala Offering’ at the International Buddhist Academy, Kathmandu. The Venerable Kunsang Choephel is becoming widely appreciated for the clarity and approachability of his teachings, which are given in English.

Registration for the webcast of the teaching on March 2nd is now open at www.gompaservices.com. Registration and viewing will be available until March 18th, 2019.

The teaching:

Mandala Offering is a ritual of offering which involves visualisation of the entire universe and mentally offering this to an object of refuge such as one’s guru, a meditational deity or the Three Jewels. Together with Taking Refuge; Vajrasattva Meditation; and the practice of Guruyoga; Mandala Offering is a prerequisite for a successful practice of Vajrayana (the path of the tantras).

The teaching will be recorded live and be available to view by the end of the day (Nepal time). The webcast will then remain available for you to view at any time of your choosing until March 18th.

The Gompa Services registration fee for the webcast is £4.00, or free for Gompa member-supporters. At the time you register you will also have the option to make a voluntary donation in support of the International Buddhist Academy.
