The Chödung Karmo (“White Dharma Conch”) Translation Group was founded in 2010 at the International Buddhist Academy to help fulfill the late Khenchen Appey Rinpoche’s vision for the preservation and transmission of the Buddha Dharma.
The texts selected for translation are commentaries on the great Indian treatises, covering the entire range of higher Buddhist philosophy and practice. These translations of classical works are supplemented by works of modern authors and transcripts of teachings, thus building a bridge to the new generation of Dharma practitioners.
