His Holiness is visiting Pokhara this week and is honouring IBA by staying with us for a couple nights en route. His arrival was preceded by much activity, especially decorating the new entrance.          

Today our very special friend Kartruk passed on to the journey to his next life, farewelled with prayers and fond memories. He brought great happiness to all at IBA.

This 12th month of the Tibetan Lunar Year marks exactly 800 years since the Parinirvana of Jetsun Drakpa Gyaltsen. During this month, His Holiness the Sakya Trizin recommends that all Sakya monasteries and devotees recite prayers, make special offerings and hold elaborate ceremonies.
