During June, 2016, Dr Pierre-Julien Harter from the University of Chicago, presented a series of lectures on western philosophy focusing on Plato’s Apology. Assisted by Dr Harter’s entertaining and clear discussions, the monks who participated gained insight into the foundation of western philosophical thought.
