Work begins on library-office building

After moving from the library-office building to the inside dining room at IBA, work is now underway to demolish the walls of the office and library building so they can dig down to the foundations and start work on strengthening the columns. The windows and fittings are now being removed from the upper floors in preparation for the walls to be removed. They also need to dig up the lovely marble walkway which runs along the front of the office so they can dig down to the foundations to strengthen the columns. Bit of a shock to see for those who know the splendid IBA buildings well, but good to see the work is progressing. We thank you all for your ongoing support.
