USA students visit IBA

This week IBA welcomes a group of students from Lawrence University in the USA who have come to IBA for two weeks to study meditation and Buddhist Philosophy and visit places of interest in Nepal. The group is being led by Connie Kassor, Assistant Professor of Religious Studies, Lawrence University and Linda Morgan-Clement also from the Faculty. Ven Kunsang Choephel from IBA is giving teachings on meditation each morning and Ven Ngawang Tenzin is teaching the text Nagarjuna’s ‘Letter to a Friend’. IBA welcomes the students and staff and it is a wonderful opportunity all round for both IBA and the group. We thank them for choosing to come to IBA for their studies this month.
