His Holiness Ratna Vajra Rinpoche led celebrations for HH Sakya Trichen’s birthday, both at IBA on the western date and at Tharlam Monastery, Boudhanath, on the Tibetan date. At Tharlam a large crowd was entertained by a wonderful cultural show and treated to a special tsampa birthday cake in the shape of a stupa.
