IBA offers prayers for His Holiness Jigdal Dagchen Rinpoche

IBA monks and staff dedicated the practice of Lamdre Guru rituals for the swift return of His Holiness who passed into parinirvana on 29 April 2016. He was the first Head of the Sakya Order to live in the United States. His work also included the foundation of Tibetan Buddhist communities in India, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Nepal, Bhutan and Southeast Asia and teaching at Buddhist centres around the world. Our thoughts and prayers are with His Holiness the Sakya Trizin and the Khon family. On Thursday evening monks placed tea light candles around the stupa at IBA as offerings for His Holiness Jigdal Dagchen Sakya Rinpoche.
