Boudha puja for His Holiness Dagchen Rinpoche

Monks, nuns and lay people from all Sakya monasteries and centres in Kathmandu joined together for a puja for His Holiness Dagchen Rinpoche at Boudha Stupa on Friday 6 May 2016. The puja included the Seven Limb Prayer and the Lam Offering Prayer composed and compiled by Khenchen Appey Rinpoche. These were followed by aspirational prayers; Samantabhadra and prayer of Maitriya.  The puja was also attended by the family of His Eminence Ratna Vajra Rinpoche – his wife Dagmo Kalden and eldest daughter Jetsunma. Today Saturday 7 May is also the beginning of Saga Dawa one of the holiest times in the Tibetan year and prayers and pujas for His Holiness will continue throughout the month of May-June.
